Description
Spring has finally blossomed, so you know what that means: the Abington Free Library’s Garden Festival is back! Join us for an afternoon filled with free gardening-oriented entertainment for all ages.
-Meet the goats from the Rose Bridge Farm and Sanctuary
-Participate in the Free Seed Exchange
-Children ages 5-12 can get artsy with crafts
-Learn about native pollinators and view a bird house, bat box, and bee hive
-Chat with local plant, animal, and environmental experts from Penn State Master Watershed & Master Gardener programs, FarmerJawn Agriculture, Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership, Elena the Sustainability Expert, and more to come!
Attendees can enter a free drawing for tickets to Longwood Gardens & a copy of "The Last Garden in England" by Julia Kelly
