Children in grades K-3 can come out for a 30-min session to read with a Teen Advisory Board volunteer. Reading buddies will choose books, find a cozy spot in the library, and take turns reading aloud. This program is great for new readers and kids looking to practice their reading skills.
Participants will meet in the Children's area to be partnered with a high school student volunteer. HVL Youth Services staff will be available to assist and encourage. Reading Buddies will run weekly through March 14th, 2023.
Space is limited. Registration for each session is required. Please register each child separately and for only one session each day.
