What Can I Do with My Kids on New Year's Eve?

The Top 12 Local Family-Friendly Activities for New Year's Eve

By Traci Walter December 28, 2019

New Year's Eve celebrations typically conjure images of late nights, champagne toasts, and maybe even fireworks ... none of which is especially kid-friendly and can leave parents feeling, well, at a loss. That is why, for my first official Macaroni Kid article, I've decided to curate a list of my top 12 picks from our local area.

While not technically on New Year's Eve, these first three events are definitely worth considering if you're looking for a FREE way to ring in 2020 with your kids!

1. Noon Day Party - December 30, 2019, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM @ Southampton Free Library

The Southampton Library welcomes the dynamic duo, Two of a Kind, to celebrate the end of 2019 through song and dance! This free event is recommended for children ages 0-8, and while no registration is required, it will likely close once the space is filled so I would recommend arriving early. I have personally had the opportunity to attend performances by David of Two of a Kind and can attest that my 4-year-old son loved it! I would definitely check it out!
